A return to what’s always been good
With a background in holistic esthetics, I’ve always believed that the best skincare comes from the earth - and that healing starts with what we put on (and into) our bodies. When my son needed gentle, effective products, I turned to my mom, and together, we began blending pork tallow, herbs, and oils.
A Family Tradition
We’ve raised heritage Kunekune pigs on pasture since 2018, believing in full-circle stewardship and honoring every part of the animal. Tallow became the heart of our formulas; not just for the nourishing benefits, but because it connected us to the land, our animals, and the people we serve.
Faith in the Good.
We believe God gave us what we need - in the plants that grow wild, the sunlight pastured pigs store in their fat, and the timeless wisdom passed down through generations. Meadowlark Made is our way of honoring that: through slow, seasonal skincare rooted in reverence and care.
Starting out as a simple request from Sydney to her mom Heather for safe, all-natural products for her son, has transformed into something much more meaningful. With a background in esthetics and a passion for using pure, wholesome ingredients, they teamed up to handcraft skincare and body care that they could trust for their family. Seeing the incredible benefits of these products, they decided to turn their labor of love into a business. Now, they offer carefully made, natural products for families who value quality and safety as much as they do.

What began as a mother-daughter remedy has become a multigenerational, women-owned business, carried in shops we admire, shared at local markets, and with you online. Today, Meadowlark Made is a modern prairie apothecary - crafting clean, heritage-inspired products that nourish skin and spirit.
