We only use tallow from humanely & ethically raised hogs on our family farm in Iowa. We are passionate about sustainability and believe in honoring the traditional nose-to-tail approach. Our hogs are slowly pasture-raised and given the best lives - lots of sunshine, fresh air, and belly rubs :) We use as many locally-sourced ingredients as possible and love supporting other farms and small businesses.

Starting out as a simple request from Sydney to her mom Heather for safe, all-natural products for her son, has transformed into something much more meaningful. With a background in esthetics and a passion for using pure, wholesome ingredients, they teamed up to handcraft skincare and body care that they could trust for their family. Pasture-raised pork tallow is a nutrient-rich, sustainable fat that comes from pigs raised in natural, open environments. When pork fat is used for cooking, it’s called lard. However, when it’s rendered and purified for skincare purposes, it becomes tallow—a deeply nourishing and versatile ingredient.
